apple's fiscal 2027 calendar is out

Apple has published the fiscal year 2027 accounting calendar: September 27, 2026 through October 2, 2027. It's a 53-week year — every few years the 5‑4‑4 rhythm needs an extra week to catch back up with the seasons, and this time it lands in the December period, which runs five weeks, November 29 through January 2.

next payout already carries the official dates. Until now the app projected fiscal 2027 from the usual pattern, marked as estimates — and the real calendar moved every period from December onward by a week. The calendar is served to the app rather than baked into it, so every installed copy picks the corrected dates up on its own: no App Store update, nothing to do.

Payout days follow the calendar at Apple's steady cadence — the Thursday roughly 33 days after a fiscal month closes. With the accounting periods now official, the app's timeline runs all the way to the last fiscal 2027 payday in November 2027.
